Pay 

We have competitive salaries in comparison to other public sector organisations, as well as some private sector organisations. We are constantly reviewing our pay grades to ensure that they remain competitive.

Pension Scheme

You will benefit from being a member of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) from your first day of employment. As a member of the LGPS, you will build up a secure income for life that is guaranteed to increase with the cost of living. The LGPS also provides valuable protections such as death in service cover of three times your pay, and enhanced pensions that are paid if you become too ill to work.
